Rev. Dr. Cornelius Williams
 Interim Pastor

Our Mission - strive to know Christ and win, raise and equip His people for service

Our Vision - a vibrant, thriving worshipping community, serving God and Humanity, unified by the love of Christ

Statement from Pastor Williams in support of social justice protests

As everyone is aware, the world is in a state of emergency due to Covoid-19 (coronavirus). In order to protect our members and guarantee the safety of our community, the Pastor, Deacons and Trustees made a decision to close the church in accordance with the Governor's orders. If you need to contact us, please call 313 961-0920 or send an email to info@secondbaptistdetroit.org. Take heart, we are the Lord's prized possession and He will bring us through this. When He does we will have a great testimony. May the Lord bless you and give you His peace.
